Willowgate is on the Eastern side of Perth. You'd probably not even realise it's there as it's largely underneath the Friarton Bridge carrying the M90 and hidden from the other roads around it. I really just found it by accident. Turns out that there's an activity centre there (paddle boarding, cycle hire, archery) trout fishery, café and the Perth Sailing Club.

Our first "trip" out for 2019 was a quick hop over to South Queensferry to check out where everything was for our daughter's wedding later this month. A sunny day, so an opportunity to grab a few photos while we were there smile.

A wee walk out on my birthday, including the annual pilgrimage to the cashmere mill (the clothing is a bit expensive but the coffee shop there is quite reasonable wink). Very still day and an almost cloudless sky.

Since the family couldn't make it round on Christmas day...

Old Crombie Parish Church. OS maps have it marked as ruins at least as far back as the 1880s although I saw one stone inscribed 1916, so obviously the graveyard was still used well after the (tiny) church went out of use.
